its so frustrating to watch mark tremonti play. not fair at all. im gna delete all my alter bridge MTVs. boohoo. somebody buy me a tonelab.

i skipped the stupid entrepreneurship course the school lined up for us sec 3s today. and i skipped a bit of school too. well, first i went to school, got picked up by mr oh to go to the sailing center to get the new boat checked up and run it throught the inspection by some singapore naval guy. went back to school. got back results. i dun wanna talk about it. went for training. good thing is right, there's NO makeup for the course! muaHAHA! rocks man i got mr oh to excuse us from it cuz competition's seriously coming up and if no one wants to train at least i do. for once this whole year i feel rather enthu bout sailing. wind speed before we launched was a crazy 16-18 knots. and i din bring hiking pants. so dreaded going out cuz my thighs would be killed even more. when we launched, the wind dropped to less than 1 knot. -.- SIGH. got stuck drifting around. played boat polo for a while which no one scored cuz there was only about 1 knot of wind and the current was so strong we ended up drifting backwards. so we decided to go where RGS was training. muahaha. jio girls. no lah. when we went there, wind picked up. my fren so badly wanted to impress girls he begged me to do a tacking duel with him. that involves two boats outmanuevering each other to get into the "killing" position to "kill" the other boat, which is essentially right on top to the windward of him so he cant move see. yup. wind had picked up to a nice 8-10 knots then, my favourite wind! sadly its was around 1730 then so we had to go back to shore by then. boohoo. sadded training.

it is NOT GOOD to go to sleep after training STARVING and HUNGRY even though you are exhausted. yup. NEVER do that.

after training i was so tired i went to sleep even though i was starving and hungry. i woke up round 2 plus, to find the circuit breaker connected MY ROOM air-con to the main power has tripped. only MY ROOM. SIGH. anyway here i am, jus finished my cup noodles, using com. so bad. anyway its a saturday tmr who cares. yeahyeah.

exam results are almost all out, im a very sad boy. obvious lack of preperation, complacency, and bias-ed teachers. aiya who cares about school lah. too much emphasis on exams if you ask me.

i went for training today, wind was gusty, up and down, and shifty. big waves, mega hiking. back aches, trembling muscles due to exhaustion, tired eyes. but one satisfied boy. today was one of my first fruitful trainings ever since i donned the long white pants of victoria school. trained hard lah. no way am i going to use to crappy boats the club supplies us with anymore, im going to take training seriously and DO WELL for nationals. maybe not this year, but at least improve during regattas. although how the people survive 5-day regattas i dont know. they must be machines. owellz.

anyway. i pray for God's continued guidance and blessings and orientate me towards the right path of what to do, what priorities to place first, the right thing at the right time. His grace is sufficient for me. more than enough actually. overflowing. abundant. yeap. leep me close to You Lord, i dun ever want to stray. cleanse my heart, keep my relationships pure.

exams are over. finally. would you believe it i had to go to school for a HALF-HOUR long CHINESE LISTENING COMPREHENSION. what a joke. waste of time. anyway. i wish it didn't rain, especially on the day where exams finally finish. sigh. would've been in town slacking now.

star wars yesterday was funky. i guess i could spoil everyone's surprise by saying what happens here, but whatever lah. haha. i tink mace windu's death was rather tragic. anakin is an idiot. oh and jiejie saw many cute guys yesterday, including the i-not-stupid guy. haha. anyway, 'driel and i said hi to huang biren last night, she looked so stressed, looking for an exit out of the locked-down great world city. i think she's so poor thing, what happened to all her big superstar friends? =)

my team played for worship on sunday. i played lead for two songs, drums on one. now i can really feel how 'driel felt at his first time on drums. i was so nervous, even during prac haha. hands shaking, feet trembling, adrenalin pumping. messed quite a bit too, like missing the crash cause i was shaking, ended up having to flick my wrist back up to hit it, was quite messy lah. josh said i speeded up. also, my lead's rather messy now, the phrasing's getting rather messy. i tink i need to tweak my lead tones on my multi-effects. at least its the holidays.

the drama 'tong xin yuan' is coming out on 23rd May, monday, at 7.00pm everyone MUST catch it k. yupyupyup.

its kor's birthday today, thankfully i managed to scrounge up some random stuff to give as presents. i even wrote a really nice and apt card. haha im not cheapskate lah. standby till i get the time to buy. exams what. owellz. i got 55 for chem!! haha. heard that half the level failed. not bad eh? =) tmr evening is kor's birthday dinner, monday night is the star wars charity gala premiere!!! MUAhahah! thanks to sam and kind auntie linda and uncle hing lee who supplied the tickets. =)

exams are over. actually not. still got MT paper on monday, CL listening compre on tuesday. anti-climax. listening compre on tues. end at 9. bleh. teachers out to kill us by making us wake up. horrible sadists. worship pract tmr, time to see whether i really improved and deserve to save up for that tonelab or not. but of course, main reason is to do it for Him. havent been in touch in a LONG LONG time. badbad. wake up jake. priorities. yupyupyup. beautiful illusions is over. the finale's really touching. anyway, a new show's coming up really really soon, starring my fav actress of all time. you guys know who. bwahaha. looking forward to it.

im tired. yawn. i want to sleep. sigh. YAWN. at least tmr got no school. :) thank God.

this past weekend's been rather great. friday i went to srjc to watch sam debate. he won. his team got first, and he got best speaker. still refuse to treat us somemore. sigh. i sang the AC school song with them haha. :) friday night we stayed over at sam's house, were so tired we all just went to sleep. saturday morning, we woke up surprisingly early. went to esplanade to watch kor in his exhibition debate. two debates in a row for me. went out for lunch after that, sam tried to karate chop the chopsticks again, failing quite badly this time. quite a few times too. sigh. haha. kor and i had chopstick/lightsaber battle. :P den we all went home, sam went for his project, michy came over for a while. i fell asleep, woke up jus as john came over. we watched operation dumbo drop. as the name implies, its dumb. nuff said. haha. we had dinner, watched the look to you dvd. 'driel came over and we had to pose for kor's publicity. sigh. im sure everyone saw it huh. yup. embarassing. yeah. den we watched a bit of the incredibles before we decided we were all too tired and went to sleep. that was around 3 plus. yeap. woke up a bit late for church, managed to go not too late, thou we missed communion. argh. anyway, we went out for lunch at cartel. we overordered AGAIN. there's something with cafe cartel, everytime we go there we overorder. actually its only sam lah. he ordered $40 worth of some mega big plate of dunnoe how many gargantuan ribs and all. we ordered the viking on the rock ice-cream again. its MEGA. whoo we had a crazy lunch. all went home, 'driel came over, supposed to study. we ended up reading comics, dozing off. we watched drawn together again, and he's still tickled by it. BLEH. haha. den we kinda jammed on the guitar, i tried to teach him a few licks. yup hopefully you'll get the hang of it. you're improving really fast! haha. yup.

i realised yesterday evening that due to the stayover at sam's house and all i'd TOTALLY forgotten about my COMPULSARY remedial on saturday morning, 8-10am. wonderful jake. simply wonderful. it was quite impt too, pertaining to the upcoming chem mid-year paper. heard its gonna be a killer. sigh. stupid teachers. how you expect the school standard to improve if u keep setting such darn hard papers and everyone fails them?!?! stupidity at its best. owellz. mid-years are coming up and i've spent a crucial weekend doing... nothing. well done jake. i think you can go and jump oredi. yup.
