dont cry, go dry your tears
dont sob, gimme a smile
i'd give you a big hug if i could be there with you
go sleep, dont think anymore
i'll hug the sheep and think of you
i'll be sleeping and dreaming of you
we're one tonight
we're one tonight

crap i feel like i'm the sole contributor to deforestation - i just printed the 5052 physics exam syllabus, 29 pages wth. i printed out geog + SS + bio + chem the other day, probably amounting to 60 pages? dang. i can already feel the cries of the trees groaning from the chainsaws cutting them down. haha i'm so drama.

i havent been blogging for a long time, an extended hiatus! prelims have started in full force, SS yesterday was pretty cool despite having what feels like a broken wrist after the exam. mr thiru very happily leaked out that merger was coming out, so we all knew what to study. hmmm, maybe i should've attempted industrialization instead, then i would deviate from the bell curve, so i've a better chance. ahh, who cares. emath today was a breeze, finished with 45min to spare.

oh that reminds me, i met liz at siglap's starbucks yesterday. she's still taller than me, dang. i feel intimidated. and she's way hot! woot. and she managed to solve the stupid emath question that stumped jansen, sheng and me. smart smart. its been a long time since we've last met, and even though we both take the same bus home i've only met her on 43 once haha.

im totally in love with the blues now, eg. eric clapton, buddy guy, BB king and robert cray. and i love the way buddy guy curses and swears while screaming and singing at the same time wahaha. somehow these pros are able to make their blues licks sound good when their guitar's clean. on the topic of clean guitar, check out manhattan by eric johnson! ohmygoodness. pro shit, both when his guitar's clean and overdriven! and i love the way he mixes his delays and tonal capacities of his guitar. shucks, i'll never hit that standard. never mind, i shall live in awe for now. one day i'll do it! wahaha motivational speech. okay im rambling.

okay, back to the books!

this post is dedicated to the late steve irwin, otherwise known as the crocodile hunter.

he has passed away from a fatal thrust from a stingray barb. as much as i want to hate the animal for killing probably one of the most fun and amusing animal conservationists of all time, we all know it was doing it in self-defense. poor steve. i dont know why im feeling so sad, i never usually do, but i guess its cause i grew up watching his shows, and in class we do, now and then, imitate his famous lines, like "hi, im steve irwin, and welcome to the australia zoo!", and "crikey, that's a big one!". i'll miss him. i think his kids'll be affected too. RIP, steve. you were one of the good ones.
